E3 is just a few days away, which means fans and journalists will soon be flooded with new trailers, gameplay footage, and information about what’s to come in the next year or so. In addition to all of the exciting press conferences, attendees also get the chance to demo many upcoming games in a hands-on environment. Surprisingly, it sounds like one of Nintendo’s most anticipated games will be on the floor, as well.

Pokemon Let’s Go Pikachu and Let’s Go Eevee was just announced last week, but fans already know it will be arriving for the Nintendo Switch in mid November. That’s still almost half a year away, but apparently the title is far enough along to have a playable version available at the upcoming event.

According to Serebii, Nintendo plans to have playable demos of Pokemon Let’s Go available on the show floor. Here’s a look at the intel from Serebii…

This is exciting news for fans who want to learn more about the specific mechanics of the game. Hopefully the demo will reveal addition details about travel, encounters, combat, and the game’s multiplayer component. It may be too much to hope for, but perhaps there will even be a chance to test out the Pokemon GO connection during the demo.

“It has been announced that the upcoming Nintendo Switch titles, Pokemon Let’s Go Pikachu & Pokemon Let’s Go Eevee are to be playable on the E3 show floor in Los Angeles next week, allowing for attendees to give the new systems a shot.”

Game Rant will have some editors on the floor at E3, so be sure to check back next week for our report on the Let’s Go demo and every other game we can get out hands on. Until then, good luck out there, trainers!

Pokemon Let’s Go Pikachu and Let’s Go Eevee will launch on November 16, exclusively for the Nintendo Switch.
