The Trainers of the Galar region have come together to win over 1 million Zeraora raids, and that means everybody gets a prize. Specifically, those who own Pokémon Sword & Shield and use Pokémon Home will get to claim a shiny Zeraora soon.
Back during the most recent Pokémon-centric Nintendo Direct, the Zeraora Max Raid event was announced. Players were challenged to win 1 million raids against the Mythical Electric-type, with the big prize being that a Shiny Zeraora would be delivered to each player’s Pokémon Home storage. Serebii reports that the goal is well past beaten, and that Zeraora distribution will start at the end of June.
To be eligible for the shiny Zeraora, players must transfer a Pokémon between Sword/Shield and Home by Monday, July 6, at 4:59 p.m. PDT. The transfer can go to or from Home, it doesn’t matter either way. And in very good news, even those who didn’t do a single Zeraora raid can claim one.
The shiny Zeraora can be claimed between Monday, June 29, at 5:00 p.m. PDT and Monday, July 6, at 4:59 p.m. PDT. To get it, players must use the Pokémon Home mobile app’s “Mystery Gift” function.
The Zeraora Max Raid event is still ongoing, and players can still rack up completions to earn Armorite Ore. Armorite Ore is a new resource introduced in the Pokémon Sword & Shield Isle of Armor DLC that pays for a new Move Tutor. Check here to see our guide on how to beat Zeraora and win more goodies.
