Players that never got a chance to battle against Gordie either because they had Pokémon Shield or because they haven’t reached this point in the game yet may not have realized that Gordie has a Gigantamax Coalossal. This is the only Gigantamax Coalossal that players will get a chance to battle while playing through the main story.
Gordie has an affinity for Rock-type Pokémon, so it’s no surprise that he has such a tough creature for his Gigantamax Pokémon; however, some players may have missed this while playing through the game especially since the Gigantamax version of this creature doesn’t change its appearance very much.
