The first ever mainline Pokémon DLC is coming out in a matter of weeks. Soon, Pokémon Sword & Shield players will be able to traverse the Isle of Armor. When, exactly? Game Freak is still saying by the end of June. We think it will be mid-June based on current Sword & Shield events. And if Pokémon Home is any indication, maybe even sooner than that. That’s because the app’s latest update is already leaking new content that will be added by the Isle of Armor DLC.

A Twitter account called Centro Pokémon Leaks reported that datamines of the latest version of Pokémon Home found new items and Abilities added to the code. This account also revealed 21 new Pokémon moves that were added to Home, so they definitely have some credibility. They shared a list of the new items in a pastebin, but also listed them on Twitter.

There were only two new Abilities added, but one of them is worth noting. The two Abilities are called Unseen Fist and Quick Draw. Unseen Fist is known to belong to the new martial arts bear Pokémon Urshifu. But Quick Draw is a mystery. Could some kind of cowboy Pokémon be on the way?

Meanwhile, the Pokémon Home also contains a list of new items that the DLC will probably add to Sword & Shield. The items are:

  • Max Honey Max Mushrooms Galarica Twig Galarica Cuff Style Card Armor Pass Exp. Charm Armorite Ore Mark Charm

Max Honey and Max Mushrooms seem pretty easy to decipher. Their smaller versions already exist in Sword & Shield as items to be sold for money. So these are probably more valuable versions.

The Galarica Twig and Cuff might be items to be make Pokémon evolve, and Slowpoke is a prime candidate. The Armor Pass is likely just the item a player will get to gain entry to the DLC island. The Exp. Charm was already announced, and simply boosts Exp. gain.

As for the Style Card, Mark Charm, and Armorite Ore, they’re anyone’s guess. They could introduce new customization options to Sword & Shield, or Armorite Ore could just be another thing to sell. The way things are going with these frequent Pokémon Home updates, it looks like we’ll be finding out sooner rather than later.
