Dwebble is very obviously based on a hermit crab, so why is it considered a Bug-type? It’s got six legs, two claws, and a rock hard shell protecting it–this thing is more of a crab than Krabby.

Well, maybe not that much more of a crab, but it’s still a crab.

If you’re feeling crabby but not quite crabby enough to bother catching a Krabby, then here’s how you can find Dwebble in Pokémon Sword & Shield.

Where to Find Dwebble

Dwebble can typically be found in the more rocky areas of Gallar, which include East Lake Axewell, Giant’s Seat, Hammerlocke Hills, North Lake Miloch, Rolling Fields, South Lake Miloch, Stony Wilderness, Watchtower Ruins, and West Lake Axewell. They’ve got a preference for sandstorms, so your best bet is to try looking for a Dwebble during those periods.

You can also find Dwebbles in Max Raid Battles in Bridge Field, Dappled Grove, Dusty Bowl, Giant’s Seat, Rolling Fields, South Lake Miloch, and Stony Wilderness.

It’s also possible to find Crustle at higher levels in Route 8, Axew’s Eye, Rolling Fields, South Lake Miloch, and Stony Wilderness. They’ll also appear in Max raid Battles in Dusty Bowl, Giant’s Seat, Rolling Fields, and Stony Wilderness. As with Dwebbles, sandstorms make Crustles more likely to appear.

How To Evolve Dwebble Into Crustle

Dwebble evolves into Crustle after reaching level 34. No evolution stones needed.

What Crustle Can Do In Battle

Crustle has impressive Defense and Attack, but poor everything else. On the plus side, he can learn Shell Smash to turn his great Defense into even better Speed and truly terrifying Attack power. Combine that with the Sturdy ability and you’ve got a secret weapon that can really surprise opponents.

Stone Edge, Earthquake, and X-Scissor are your other three moves that should give Crustle great coverage against most Pokémon types.
