Water-type Pokémon can be great defensive walls for a team, and Jellicent is a decent option found in Sword & Shield. It’s a Water and Ghost-type, and that lets it use some tricky movesets. Here’s where to find it.
Where To Find Frillish In Sword & Shield
Frillish is one of several species of Water-type Pokémon that will pop up when you’re riding your bike over the water. You can find it in bodies of water in the Wild Area, and it tends to prefer rain. It can be found in Bridge Field, East Lake Axewell, Giant’s Mirror, North Lake Miloch, and West Lake Axewell.
Frillish has different colors depending on its gender, with males being blue and females being pink.
How To Evolve Frillish Into Jellicent
Frillish evolves into Jellicent at level 40. Wild Jellicent can be found in the waters of Route 9, Bridge Field, East Lake Axewell, Lake of Outrage, and North Lake Miloch.
What Jellicent Does In Battle
Jellicent has great Special Defense and HP, allowing it to take some hits. It also has Water Absorb, which makes it great for going toe-to-toe with other Water-types. For attacks, it can learn tricky Ghost-type staples like Will-o-Wisp, Taunt, and Night Shade. Scald would be a great Water-type attack for it.
