Silicobra is a new snake Pokémon introduced in Sword & Shield. It’s a straight Ground-type, making it look pretty average at first glance. However, its true power lies in its ability to Gigantamax. Its evolution, Sandacobra, can use the new gimmick to become a giant snake tornado, which is both cool and gives it an edge in battle. Here’s where to find one.
Where To Find Silicobra
For being a new Pokémon, Silicobra is not very plentiful in its debut games. You can only find them in one place – Route 6 in the tall grass. Perhaps they’re shy.
How To Evolve Silicobra Into Sandaconda
Silicobra evolves into Sandaconda at level 36. You can also find Sandaconda straight-up spawning on Route 8 or near the Lake of Outrage.
As for that Gigantamax form, you need to get a special Sandaconda from a Gigantamax Raid Battle. You can find that at Dusty Bowl.
What Sandaconda Does In Battle
Sandaconda’s Gigantamax form gives it a stat boost few Pokémon can match. It has Abilities that allow it to thrive in, or even create, a sandstorm. That makes it a good candidate for a weather team. Outside of that, however, it’s a fairly standard Ground-type. Earthquake will be its go-to attack, and it can set Stealth Rock.
