Stufful is that adorable pink bear Pokémon, which then evolves into the horrifyingly lovable Bewear that just might hug its object of affection to death. This bone-crushing hugger makes a formidable addition to any trainer’s Sword & Shield team, especially throughout the early-game.

Finding Stufful

Stufful is reasonably attainable throughout the Wild Area in many varying weather conditions. But both Stufful and Bewear can be found most abundantly in the East Lake Axewell, roaming the overworld there during normal and overcast weather.

Stufful can also be caught in Max Raids, so scope out dens in the Dusty Bowl, East Lake Axewell, North Lake Miloch, Rolling Fields, and the Stony Wilderness.

Stufful evolves into Bewear at level 27. Its normal-type moves such as Strength or Flail are strong, but its brute strength may fall short against several opponent types.

Bewear can undoubtedly take a hit, and dark-type moves combat its psychic-type weakness, so think about adding Payback to its repertoire. For some added coverage, have Bewear learn the TM Ice Punch to keep a trick in its arsenal against flying-types. And to cover the majority of its weak points, teach Bewear the Zen Headbutt TR to take on fighting-type opponents.
