Evolutionary items within the Pokémon franchise has been a main staple in the games ever since Generation 1. In Generation 8, these items made a return and there are also a bunch of new evolutionary material to obtain for evolving Pokémon.

Some of these items are difficult to obtain and some of them are easier. However, every single one of them can usually be obtained quickly and this list will cover the easiest way to obtain all 20 of them. 20 Fire Stone

This fiery stone can be found at the Lake of Outrage within the expansive wild area where players can catch a bunch of different creatures.

This is the stone that fans can use to evolve a plethora of different Fire-type Pokémon, including Eevee into Flareon.

19 Moon Stone

A single moon stone can be found in the wild area, in the dusty bowl region and it is hard to miss while looking for it.

This stone can evolve both Clefairy and Munna into their powerful evolutions and they are definitely worth obtaining for both the Pokédex and for battles.

18 Dusk Stone

This stone is used to evolve Doublade and Lampent into powerful Pokémon that are both rare and desirable.

This stone can be picked up at the Pokémon center near Stow-on-Side, behind it. There is also an extra dusk stone that is found at the Lake of Outrage within the wild area.

17 Sun Stone

This stone is beautiful in appearance and players can use it to evolve the depressed Gloom into the lively Bellossom!

This is another stone that can be found as loot within the Lake of Outrage and also within Dusty Bowl. It’s worth picking up this stone because some of the Pokémon it evolves are powerful creatures and it’s quick to obtain in the wild area.

16 Water Stone

Vaporeon and Ludicolo are fan-favorite Pokémon and they can only be obtained with this stone.

15 Leaf Stone

Leafeon is yet another great Eeveelution that requires a stone to evolve and it is a powerful item for Grass-type creatures to use.

Players can obtain this stone by heading over to Turffield Town and looking around in the west part of it where they will find a Leaf stone to pick up.

14 Dawn Stone

Evolving Kirlia into a powerful Gallade will only be accomplished through using this stone on it. It’s a beautiful stone as well and most people in the Pokémon world desire it even just for collecting.

This stone can be found at the Giant’s Camp and players will only find one so this rare stone shouldn’t be wasted.

13 Thunder Stone

Every player that wants to evolve their adorable Pikachu into a powerful Raichu will need this glimmering stone.

It is found in a few places however the best location to obtain it is the north area of Lake Miloch because it can be easily found and is hard to miss by players that adventure in that area.

12 Ice Stone

The shiny stone is rare but there are still a few places to find it in the Galar region. The best way to obtain it is by looking at Route 8 where it will be found around the area.

10 Reaper Cloth

The BP shop in the Hammerlocke Pokémon Center will contain this item for purchase by the player.

It’s worth buying if a player is looking to evolve their Dusclops into Dusknoir by trading the Pokémon when it’s holding this item. This spooky cloth is definitely one item that players should purchase if they get the chance!

9 Protector

Fans absolutely love the Rhyhorn evolutionary line. And to obtain its final form, this item is a necessity for players.

The fastest way to get this item is by adventuring to Route 9 and surfing across the water to a mini island that will hold the Protector item.

8 Metal Coat

In Stow-on-Side, this steel item can be found by the player and it is the easiest way to collect it in the game.

Trading an Onix with this item will reward the player with the powerful Pokémon Steelix that fans can use in battle.

7 Whipped Dream

This cute item is used for evolving the adorable Swirlix Pokémon into its stronger evolution Slurpuff. This is an item that trainers won’t want to pass up if they collect cute Pokémon!

The player can sometimes be rewarded with this rare item when they battle in the Master Café in a few different cities, Hammerlocke, Wydon, or Motostoke. This isn’t too hard to get so players should collect one of these even if they don’t currently need it in case they catch a Swirlix.

6 Prism Scale

Milotic is the most beautiful Pokémon ever introduced, according to most fans, and this item will help players obtain one for themselves by trading it while holding a Prism Scale.

The Prison Scale can be picked up on Route 2 and it is easy to find so most players shouldn’t miss this useful item.

5 Sachet

Spritzee is a cute creature. However, a lot of fans are more after its more powerful evolution Aromatisse.

This item is rewarded to the player occasionally by completing a Café Master Battle and the player can complete a battle of this type every day in Hammerlocke, Wyndon, or Motostoke City at the café.

4 Razor Claw

The Razor Claw will evolve the fan-favorite creature Sneasel which is why it is valuable among players of the Generation 8 games.

The razor claw is another useful evolutionary item that can be bought in Hamkerlocke City within the BP shop at the Pokémon Center.

3 The Chipped Pot & The Cracked Pot

The Chipped Pot Is Used To evolve the new Pokémon Sinistea into a more powerful form which is a larger more intimidating teacup.

This item is easily found at the bargain shop in Stow-on-Side, but unfortunately it is a random list of items so some players may be out of luck. However another similar item called the Cracked Pot is found if the player adventures near a ladder within the town and it has the same effect.

2 Alcremie Items

A bunch of items can be used to obtain Alcremie from its weaker pre-evolution Milcery.

The way to get one of these items is through battling at the Café Master Battle in either Hammerlocke, Wyndon, or Motorstoke and winning. Like the other café items this isn’t a guaranteed reward so players will have to come back every day to keep trying to obtain it.

1 Sweet Apple & Tart Apple

These are two more items that can be obtained from the Cafe Master Battle in Hammerlocke, Wydon, or Motorstoke city.

These items are used to evolve the Dragon-type Applin into its evolutions and which evolution depends entirely on which game the trainer is playing.
