Being an ESTJ, you fall under The Executive type, which is ideal for playing a game like Pokémon. So what would your perfect Pokémon party actually be?
To determine your personality type you must take an MBTI® personality test. This is unlike any other typical personality test as it explores deeper into your personality, covering strengths, weaknesses, loves, hates, and even your relationships with friends and family. It’s mind-bogglingly accurate and can serve as a wonderful way to explore how your mind ticks in a way that has never been done before.
Standing for Extraverted, Observant, Thinking, and Judging, ESTJ is summed up by one simple description, The Executive. This already highlights that this personality is typically a natural leader because of their determination and organized persona. These traits are absolutely ideal for any Pokémon Trainer and make for a pretty interesting Pokémon party.
6 Coalossal
ESTJ’s love the idea of having a variety of types in their party, they look for dedication and need hardworking and reliable Pokémon to fight by their sides. This is where Coalossal comes in. As a fire-type Pokémon, it’s known for being rather hot-headed and argumentative when something is wrong, however, with a trainer who’s an ESTJ, they can easily be kept under wraps.
Dispite being argumentative, Coalossal is a pretty well behaved and peaceful companion which automatically makes it a perfect match for any ESTJ out there. Being natural leaders, this personality needs people to depend on and cant stand laziness, which is ideal for Coalossal since it is so hard-working when it protects mines and works hard in anything it does. Since both of these personalities line up so well, this match is just ideal.
5 Leafeon
As an evolution from Eevee, most would expect this grass-type to be rather excitable and impulsive. However, Leafeon is in fact the opposite. It is known for being extremely honest and pretty reserved, preferring to talk their way out of a battle rather than using brawn. Nevertheless, when it comes to battle, Leafeon can so some impressive damage.
Unlike most extroverts, ESTJ’s enjoy peace and quiet, they prefer to think a problem through rather than running from it or charging into it head-on. With a companion like Leafeon, you can both be honest, hardworking, and organized while still succeeding in everything you do.
4 Croconaw
This wonderfully cute water-type Pokémon would make a wonderful addition to anyone’s party, but it would make an even better companion for an ESTJ. This is because it is such an energetic and excitable Pokémon who will undoubtedly bring joy and power to your gaming experience. Whilst it has been mentioned that ESTJ’s are rather private, they do often need someone to bring them out of the shadows and show the world what wonderful people they really are.
With ESTJ’s being sensible and kind, they can bring Croconaw down to a realistic level whilst Croconaw brings them up to have a little fun without worrying about the consequences. With this personality hating laziness, nothing fits more than a companion as excitable as Croconaw.
3 Noivern
This flying/ dragon-type Pokémon is a pretty powerful companion, even if it is renowned for having a rather quick temper. The only trainer who would be able to tame a bird like this is undeniably an ESTJ. With their patient attitude and determination, they will easily be able to control that temper and let it out when its needed, releasing a cruel and deadly companion to battle with.
Noivern is incredibly smart and is quick to know what to do, which works perfectly with this personality type who are renowned for being quick-thinkers and love putting themselves with other people like this. Once these trainers have tamed Noivern, they will quickly become a force to be reckoned with.
2 Marowak
Marowak is known for having a pretty inspiring backstory after losing its mother when it was a small cute Cubone. However, it evolved into the powerful and wonderful Marowak which instantly makes it obvious that this pairing is just perfect. Marowak can serve as an inspiration for those around it and it’s determination to improve itself is just what this personality love surrounding themselves with.
Both are extremely determined and always strive to improve themselves and the people around them. Therefore, adding Marowak into the mix will make both of them work harder and harder, meaning they will ultimately succeed in anything they set their mind to.
1 Scyther
This powerful bug/flying type Pokémon is a quick-thinker and is undeniably an adept-hunter, making it a pretty sought after companion to battle with. Due to it being a quick-thinker, Scyther works perfectly with any ESTJ since it can react and adapt on the spot. Moreover, the two are determined and undeniably stubborn, with them often finding it hard to relax.
One of the most telling times that Scyther finds it hard to relax is when it sees the color red. Whilst this is often a bad thing, ESTJ’s can certainly use it to their advantage and cause a considerable amount of chaos in their wake. Ultimately, with this party you can have fun, catch them all, and win the battles you need to win to be the successful person you desire to be.
