It can be pretty hard picking the right Pokémon for you especially since there are just so many to choose from. So, why not let your D&D alignment choose it for you?

When Pokémon first came out, Dragon-types were rather elusive, with only 3 1st gen Pokémon holding the dragon status, Dratini, Dragonair, and Dragonite. Now, they are anything but rare, but they still remain a fan favorite. This means that there are now 72 Dragon-type Pokémon, which can make it extremely hard to choose a favorite.

Your D&D alignment can tell you many things like your personality, your goals, and how you go about getting to those goals. Although, it can also help you choose what Dragon-type Pokémon is perfect for you as every Pokémon has a different style, personality, and strength that can change the tides of whatever Pokémon game you play.

9 Lawful Good: Dragonite

Dragonite is one of the cutest Pokémon ever and it screams good despite its dragon look.

In both the anime and the games, Dragonite is consistently kind and cute, displaying that it will happily abide by what it’s trainer says as well as keeping to its morals and kind persona. This is just like any lawful good, who will use the law and their own morals to bestow kindness on anyone they meet.

8 Neutral Good: Altaria

Nothing screams good like a Pokémon that is basically a cloud. This Pokémon is delightfully kind, as seen in the way it looks as well as the way it acts.

The neutral good alignment is all about helping others according to your needs, which is exactly what Altaria would do. It would make sure that it can help its trainer as best as it can and do everything it can to do what is right.

7 Chaotic Good: Mega Ampharos

As long as you can get hold of a mega bracelet, this Pokémon is perfect for the chaotic goods out there. Especially since most chaotic goods love being different and nothing screams different than a Pokémon who is only a Dragon-type in its mega form.

Mega Ampharos is most definitely good with its luscious hair and bright loving smile, perfect for the good out there. As it can only turn mega during a battle, it only serves to bring out the chaos in this alignment.

6 Lawful Neutral: Jangmo-o

This is a rather underrated Pokémon that is absolutely adorable and perfect for the lawful neutral alignments out there.

Although cute, there is a deadly streak within this Pokémon that you can only see if you look closely or get on the wrong side of them. Just like lawful neutrals, Jangmo-o can easily sway to good or bad, but remain on the right side of their morals and the law.

5 Neutral: Applin

Nothing could be more neutral than a Pokémon that is a literal apple.

This new Pokémon has quickly become a fan favorite due to its wacky form and multiple evolutions. However, it isn’t famous for its effectiveness, which can often be a deadly understatement. This is similar for the neutral alignment, as it’s seen as being boring or pointless, but is actually far from it.

4 Chaotic Neutral: Kyurem

Chaotic neutrals can very easily cause some rather questionable problems since they usually act on their own whims, valuing their own freedom above anything else.

With this Pokémon, you can easily cause some chaos since it certainly looks deadly, but also kind. Just like the chaotic neutral alignment, Kyurem looks like it could easily flick between good and evil as long as it can cause some chaos in its wake.

3 Lawful Evil: Zekrom

Most evil alignments love the element of power. They often aim for world domination, power over people, or wealth. Therefore, they look for the most powerful Pokémon they can, typically legendaries like Zekrom.

This electric Dragon-type looks deadly whilst also looking proud. It can cause some mass damage whilst also having the intimidation factor that most lawful evils are looking for. Zekrom is unique, deadly, and mysterious, perfect for any lawful evil alignment.

2 Neutral Evil: Hydreigon

Hydreigon is an extremely interesting Pokémon to look at as well as to battle. Firstly, the resemblance of a Hydra instantly forces it into the evil category, but the almost cute look causes many to question its alliances.

This makes it perfect for any neutral evil as they allow themselves to slip between chaos and the law to get what they want whilst still making sure that they can cause all the damage they desire.

1 Chaotic Evil: Druddigon

This colorful Pokémon is perfect for anyone who is chaotic evil. Its look explains enough about the chaotic side with it being full of bright colors and seemingly random spikes dotted around its body.

Chaotic evil alignments are typically evil for the sake of causing problems, so they look for powerful and interesting Pokémon to be by their side. This is why Druddigon is so perfect for any chaotic evil. It is powerful, bright, and unafraid to cause problems in any battle you put it in.
