Your D&D alignment can tell so much about yourself. It explores your personality, motivations, and how you achieve your goals. Whilst doing all that, it can also tell you many other things, like what character you’d be in your favorite TV show, or even what Pokémon you would be if you’re favorite type was flying.
Whilst Flying-type Pokémon are extremely effective and contain some wonderful fighters, buddies, and party members, there are just so many to choose from. With over 100 different Flying-types to choose from, it becomes a huge challenge to pick the one perfectly suited to you. However, each has their own personality, look, and mechanics to allow them to suit you perfectly, depending on who you are.
9 Lawful Good: Togekiss
Togekiss is easily one of the most adorable Pokémon in Gen 4 and is perfect for any lawful good alignment.
The lawful good alignment is all about doing what’s best. They stick to the law and do everything they can for the good of the people around them. This is why Togekiss is so perfect since you need to build up a huge friendship with both Togepi and Togetic to even get the full evolution. Both Togekiss and any lawful good are extremely loyal and caring, especially to those who take the time to build up a strong and trusting friendship.
8 Neutral Good: Butterfree
Nothing screams neutral good like a cute butterfly. However, this Pokémon is the perfect match for more reasons than just its species.
Just like neutral goods, Butterfree can fly under the radar a little bit but when put into the limelight can always be relied on to do the right thing and stand up for what’s right. Unlike an actual butterfly, both Butterfree and the neutral goods are tough and can put up a pretty good fight when they need to.
7 Chaotic Good: Gyarados
The main reason Gyarados is under the chaotic alignment is that it can’t actually fly but is still a Flying-type.
Just like the chaotic good alignment, Gyarados can always be relied on to do what’s right, especially when it comes to battle or adding a little bit of chaos to wherever it goes. However, the notion that Gyarados is a Flying-type is enough for those chaotic goods to love this Pokémon.
6 Lawful Neutral: Noctowl
This Pokémon is just like those lawful neutrals out there, a little mysterious and somewhat stubborn.
If you are this alignment, then Noctowl is perfect for you. Disciplined, mysterious, and powerful, it can help you reach the goals you desire whilst keeping you within the realms of your moral code.
5 True Neutral: Jumpluff
True neutrals are often perceived as being boring or not worth choosing. However, it is quite the opposite. What makes the neutral alignment so wonderful is how unpredictable they can be, just like Jumpluff.
Jumpluff may look sweet and cuddly but can pack a punch in battle and most certainly isn’t opposed to doing good or bad. Moreover, just like true neutrals, Jumpluff is a free spirit who floats where it pleases, which is what makes this Pokémon so perfect for those free-spirited true neutrals who just don’t care what anyone says.
4 Chaotic Neutral: Dodrio
Nothing screams chaotic like a Pokémon with three heads. Unlike other Pokémon with three heads like Hydreigon, Dodrio is most definitely not evil. However, it certainly isn’t good either.
Chaotic neutrals are happy to be good or bad, as long as they can cause a little bit of chaos, almost like they have the devil and angel on their shoulders and just love flicking between the two, just like Dodrio. However, what makes this pairing so perfect is how both are unpredictable but extremely reliable when it comes to causing a little bit of trouble.
3 Lawful Evil: Rayquaza
When it comes to the evil alignments, most typically enjoy the feeling of power. They aim for world domination, power over a city, or even just a specific person. This is why they love choosing legendaries or extremely powerful Pokémon.
Rayquaza is a Dragon/ Flying-type which only helps add to the evil status, after all when it comes to Dungeons and Dragons, you rarely see a good dragon. Nevertheless, Rayquaza is perfect for the power this alignment is looking to gain, whilst keeping the discipline that lawful evils abide by.
2 Neutral Evil: Gliscor
Gliscor flies under the radar for being a great Pokémon, however, when by the side of a neutral evil, this Pokémon will certainly be used to its full potential.
This vampire looking scorpion most certainly completes the evil look, and since most evil alignments are looking for the intimidation factor, Gliscor is just perfect for you.
1 Chaotic Evil: Aerodactyl
This Fossil/ Flying-type Pokémon is perfect for both the intimidation, power, and chaotic factor that every chaotic evil alignment is looking for.
Chaotic evils are typically impulsive and rather violent so they would need a Pokémon like Aerodactyl to beat anyone they come across and ultimately win with ease. They also love being in control and committing evil deads just because they feel like it, and this Pokémon would have no quarrels doing so.
