Your Dungeons and Dragons alignment can tell more about you than you realized, including just what psychic-type Pokémon you would be. D&D alignments are all about your personality and what goes on inside your head. When it comes to brains, psychic-type Pokémon are experts. Your alignments drastically change which of these Pokémon you would be.
Without always realizing it, choosing a party of Pokémon is insanely personal, it reflects your preferences as well as your personality. Some may see psychic-type as manipulative or somewhat evil, but most know that just isn’t the case, they can be powerful, adorable, and often underrated. So if psychic-type is your thing, then there is always a Pokémon that is perfectly suited to who you are or who you love to play in D&D.
9 Lawful Good: Espeon
As one of Eevee’s many evolutions, it is a difficult statement to make that Espeon is anything but good. Her calm and endearing approach to battles as well as the way she looks implies that she has her own morals and sticks to them no matter what, just like the lawful good alignment.
Espeon is cool, calm, collected, and powerful. Just like any lawful good person, they have great morals and will stick to them without question, sometimes to their demise. However, as stubborn as they are, both the Pokémon and their trainer are always up for learning new things.
8 Neutral Good: Rapidash
It should be noted that this is the Galarian form of Rapidash since it is a psychic-type unicorn. A unicorn perfectly describes the neutral good alignment. They do everything they can to help those in need and are just lovely people.
Just like Rapidash, neutral goods can pack a punch if needs be but mostly prefer to protect rather than attack. For the type of people who care and protect, Galarian Rapidash is perfect.
7 Chaotic Good: Mew
It would be wrong if Mew wasn’t under this alignment. As seen in the animes, the films, and the games (if you can get your hands on one), Mew is a cheeky Pokémon who loves playing pranks but will stand up for what is right when needed.
Just like the chaotic goods, Mew is playful and loves causing a little bit of chaos. Ultimately, both Mew and chaotic goods play their own game, they have their own messy mind and love impulsive fun and excitement, although never to anyone’s expense if they haven’t done anything wrong that is.
6 Lawful Neutral: Gothita
Just like lawful neutrals, Gothita is extremely observant and vigilant. In the anime, the only time you really see her is when she is helping her trainer using her psychic powers.
If you are a lawful neutral then your heart will melt at how cute this Pokémon is, making it hard to not put it in your party. It has some good hits, although it does get distracted and confused a few times. Nevertheless, this Pokémon is happy to do either good or bad as long as it meets their moral code, just like anyone with this alignment.
5 Neutral: Natu
This isn’t to say that the neutral alignment is boring, but it is probably the most ’normal’ alignment out there. Just like pain old Natu. Natu can pack a punch when needed and is a good addition to your Pokédex but doesn’t have a strong affiliation to good or bad, placing it in the category of neutral.
Anyone with this alignment can quickly change to whatever they desire, although never enough to place them in a different alignment. They are kind when they need to be and can stand up for themselves when they want to.
4 Chaotic Neutral: Abra
Nothing screams chaotic than Abra. Mainly because of how difficult it is to catch! This is the same as any chaotic neutral alignment, you just can’t tie them down. They are free spirits and will do what they want when they want.
Abra is notoriously a one-hit catch in the original games and Pokémon Go which makes it a rather challenging Pokémon to get hold of, let alone evolve. Nevertheless, if you are a chaotic neutral, Abra and you will get on like a house on fire.
3 Lawful Evil: Metagross
Metagross looks like it does some damage on the battlefield, and that is just what lawful evils want. Most lawful evil play to win and it can often mean they don’t enjoy the game as others would, however the enjoyment from winning a battle is much greater.
This is why Metagross is the perfect Pokémon for anyone with the lawful evil alignment. Metagross plays to win, it can quickly become a ruthless Pokémon who, if in it’s mega form, will burrow its claws into the opponent and prepare to explode if it thinks it will lose. Just like the lawful evil alignment, it will do anything in the realms of the rules to win.
2 Neutral Evil: Necrozma
As soon as you look at this Pokémon it just screams evil. It has to be one of the scariest psychic-type Pokémon out there.
Just like the neutral evil alignment, this Pokémon can do some ridiculous damage when they want to and you don’t want to get on their bad side. Nevertheless, an evil alignment constantly looks for power, and nothing screams it like this Pokémon.
1 Chaotic Evil: Mewtwo
Mewtwo is the perfect example of chaotic evil. It is powerful and has an evil agenda that it will follow until the end of time.
Mewtwo is evil for the sake of being evil, he is the antagonist of the films and remains one of the most powerful and rare Pokémon in the game, perfect for the chaotic evil alignments.
