Steel types are the king of defense in Pokémon. They have the most resistances and are completely immune to poison types making them a nightmare to fight in battle. But while Steel types share a common resilience to many types, they each have their own individual personalities and unique qualities.
For those Pokémon fans who might be curious about which steel type they relate to best then here are some that bear similar traits to the different zodiacs. Here are the aggressive, gentle, and stubborn steel type Pokémon based on the different zodiac signs.
12 Aquarius – Magearna
Those born under Aquarius are motivated to help others. As a result they like to be around other people and lend aid however they can. Because of this inner desire they are often gifted with the innate ability to sense the mood of others.
These are qualities found in the Pokémon Magearna. Magearna is an artificial Pokémon meant to be a gift to the daughter of a king over 500 years ago. This being was capable of synchronizing it’s feelings with others making it a perfect empath and a compassionate companion.
11 Pisces – Jirachi
Pisces personalities are very fond of being alone and sleeping. Not that they’re lazy, they just enjoy the comfort and bliss that comes from a solid night’s sleep or a lengthy nap. While they prefer to be alone they do wish the best for other people.
JIrachi is a good example of a Pisces. This Pokémon is known to sleep for long periods of time and is rumored to grant a wish whenever it awakens.
10 Aries – Perrserker
Aries individuals are warriors, they thrive on physical challenges and moments that require courage. This can cause them to be moody and aggressive sometimes when they fail to live up to the challenge or appear to be losing.
Perrserkers have a lot in common with this zodiac. They live for battle and have evolved specifically for fighting. This makes them a bit sketchy to train, but put them up against a challenging foe and they’d become laser focused on the fight.
9 Taurus – Aggron
Those born under the Taurus sign are often hard workers. They’re known to garden and do hard work with their hands. This often results in them being patient individuals, though they can get a little carried away and become stubborn and possessive over what they’re obsessing over.
Aggron’s are very much like this. This massive Pokémon will claim an entire mountain for themselves and viciously defend it. They’re very industrious with their territory and start planting trees and restoring damaged areas, but they’re vicious to anyone seeking to violate their area.
8 Gemini – Lucario
Geminis are individuals that hate being alone. They enjoy being in groups and using their adaptable and resourceful nature to bring the team together to succeed.
Lucario is a Pokémon that can relate strongly to this type of behavior. They always prefer to hunt their prey in packs. They can also tap into the feelings of others which makes them excellent companions and terrifying enemies.
7 Cancer – Mawile
Cancers on their good days are loyal and sympathetic individuals who enjoy helping others. But on a bad day they can be incredibly manipulative and suspicious of strangers. It’s hard to know which mood they’re in and this can lead to some interesting moments.
Mawile is that darker part of a Cancer’s personality. They’re known for presenting a docile appearance to drop their opponent’s guard. Then when they least expect it their massive jaw appears out of nowhere and clamps down on them.
6 Leo – Alolan Meowth
Leos are generous and warm-hearted individuals so long as they’re receiving the respect they may or may not deserve. They don’t like being ignored for long and on bad days can become very arrogant and self-centered.
Alolan Meowths are similar in many ways. These creatures are very prideful, but their egos are very delicate. They become enraged when they’re treated poorly or if the coin on their forehead becomes dirty.
5 Virgo – Copperajah
Virgos will go the mile for those they care about. They’re hardworkers, great with animals, and they are loyal to those in their inner circle. They can be workaholics at time, especially if it’s to help someone that asked for help.
Copperajahs are a lot like this. Unlike most Pokémon these are actually willing to work hand in hand with humans, lending their large size and trunks to carry and break things.
4 Libra – Cobalion
Libras are gentle souls who enjoy socializing with others. But they can become fierce lions when they witness what they perceive as injustice and aren’t afraid to get in someone’s face about it. This can be good if the injustice is legitimate.
Cobalion is similar in many ways. Normally they are calm and composed creatures, but they will fight humans in an effort to protect fellow Pokémon that are being hurt, or at least those it perceives as being hurt.
3 Scorpio – Aegislash
Scorpios are known for being brave and stubbornly accomplishing their goals. But they can also be secretive to the point of being manipulative and devious.
The Aegislash is much like this. They are Pokémon that have faithfully served kings over the years by manipulating and controlling their opponents. There are some Aegislash that have been known to manipulate the king himself to form large empires of its own design.
2 Sagittarius – Corviknight
Sagittarius personalities value the freedom to go and do things. This often sends them outdoors where they can travel, explore, and see the world.
Corviknight is the Pokémon that best aligns with Sagittarius types. With their fierce appearance they have the freedom to come and go as they please. They’ll also famous for flying humans across the Galar region, a job well suited for someone who enjoys travel.
1 Capricorn – Metagross
Capricorns are disciplined and intellectual individuals. They know a lot about a lot of things and aren’t afraid to use that knowledge to their advantage be it at work or at play.
Metagross is easily one of the smartest Pokémon in the series. Thanks to its four brains it has an intellect that rivals a supercomputer and it uses this wealth of information to overwhelm and outsmart opponents.
