Normal-type Pokémon are a bit of an enigma. No Pokémon gains the Normal-typing when evolving, and it lost a ton of its Pokémon (Togekiss, Snubbull, and others) when the Fairy-types were introduced. As Pokémon evolve, they often lose their Normal-typing as well.

Despite these traits, the Normal-type features a ton of iconic Pokémon such as Eevee and Meowth. Fans love the many that came from the Kanto generation, as that generation is the one that introduced the most Normal-types.

Some fans love particular Normal-types so much, that they get them as tattoos! After all, what better way is there to have your pal from the games always be around with you in real life?

10 Ditto

Made by Roberto Euan, this tattoo is of one of the most bizarre Pokémon out there: Ditto. It may look like a chewed up piece of bubblegum, but its actually a pure Normal-type Pokémon that has the ability to change into others.

It can get very goofy in battle. The Pokémon has been around since the Kanto generation and is beloved enough by the fandom to show up in a ton of merchandise and have an interesting role in the Detective Pikachu movie.

9 Miltank

Miltank was introduced in the Johto generation and is best known as Goldrenrod Gym Leader Whitney’s strongest Pokémon. It is part of no evolution line and is one of many cattle-inspired Pokémon.

This Miltanks, tattooed by sxmantha_jane from Salt Lake City, aimed for the cute side of this pink cow and added some hearts around the Pokémon.

8 Chansey

Done by Mymy Tattoo, this is no ordinary Chansey. It appears that she is a nurse! Nurse Pokémon are not unusual in the Pokémon world, especially in the anime. Nurse Pokémon can be found working closely with Nurse Joys in the Pokémon Centers.

This could be a very cute tattoo for someone who both loves Pokémon and also works as a nurse or doctor.

7 Wooloo

Wooloo is one of the newest additions to the Normal-type family. It was introduced in Pokémon Sword and Shield and was received warmly by fans of fluffy Pokémon. Some loved its design so much, they got it as a tattoo.

This Wooloo was tattooed by Kayla Rose, who is known for her cute pop culture tattoos. Other Pokémon tattoos she has done include Squirtle, Vulpix, Charmander, Pikachu, and Bulbasaur.

6 Munchlax

Tattooed by Mewo llama, this Munchlax is holding what appears to be a Snorlax plush while it plays a Pokéflute.

In both the games and show, the Kanto region is known to have a Snorlax blocking a path while taking a nap. The only way to get it to wake up and move it to obtain a Pokéflute. As for Munchlax, it is the per-evolved form of Snolax.

5 Meowth

Meowth was most popularized by Team Rocket, especially in the T.V. show. It was destined to be so the moment Pikachu got popular. It was an electric mouse that needed a cat rival.

This leg tattoo was done by cammiyutattoo. Her gallery is mostly Disney but she has also tattooed Pokémon like Ninetails, Totodile, Eevee, and Horsea.

4 Eevee

Eevee is possibly the most tattooed Pokémon of all time. It is adorable and constantly stays relevant due to its ability to evolve into different types. Players of the games have all raised their own Eevee at one point or another. It even stared in its own game: Let’s Go Eevee and is easily a Pokémon that we’d love to have in the real world.

This floral Eevee was done by carlatattoos. Her tattoos range from colorless and minimalist to bright and floral.

3 Audino

This is a second tattoo done by the talented Mewo Llama. Instead of a Muchlax, this time its an Audino. It is also holding a giant syringe!

Like Chansey, Audino is a Nurse Pokémon. It was introduced in the Black and White generation and shares a lot of same qualities as Chansey in both color scheme, hit points, and societal role.

2 Skitty

If you love cats but don’t like Meowth, then there is no need to worry. Almost every Pokémon generation has its own cat. Skitty is one such cat, introduced in the third generation. Its design is adorable and pink too! It evolves into Delcatty, which actually is also a pure Normal-type.

This Skitty was tattooed by Chris Stockings. His other Pokémon tattoos include Togepi, Jiggilypuff, Pikachu, Magikarp, Bulbasaur, Cubone, Charmander, and Glaceon.

1 Porygon

Done by Kadee Spangler, this tattoo features one very unusual Pokémon in terms of concept and design: Porygon.
