Pokemon Go’s next Community Day arrives on July 3 at 11 AM local time, bringing Tepig as the Pokemon of the day. As like all Community Days, this means Tepig will appear more often in the wild and you’ll have better odds of finding a shiny version.
It also means that Tepig’s evolved during the event will learn a special move. Evolve your Tepig into Pignite during the event or up to two hours afterward and you’ll eventually get an Emboar that knows the Blast Burn charged attack.
As usual, there’s 3-times Stardust awarded per Pokemon capture, Incenses and Lure Modules last up to three hours instead of one, and there’s a special one-time purchase Community Day box containing a whole bunch of goodies, including 50 Ultra Balls, five Incense, five Star Pieces, and an Elite Charged TM.
There’s also a special surprise waiting for those that “take a few snapshots during Community Day.”
Emboar isn’t the greatest Fire or Fighting-type Pokemon in the game, but it’s still no slouch and a fine choice to bring against the Regi Trio in a Raid Battle.
Pokemon Go Fest arrives on July 17 and brings Milotic to the mobile game for the first time, but that’s not all for July. Pokemon Air Adventures was just announced today in collaboration with the aviation company Skymark to bring this limited-time event on July 22. The event features the debut of Corsola, the coral Pokemon, as well as a special edition Okinawa shirt-wearing Pikachu that will be available only in Okinawa, Japan.
This Friday brings a flood of shiny Bidoofs, however, as the Bidoof Breakout event starts June 25. As the name implies, Bidoofs will become way more common during the event and you’ll actually be able to find a shiny Bidoof for the first time ever. Your Bidoof can even come with one of three special moves, depending on which day you capture it this weekend.
