Pokemon GO players have a ton of events to keep track of this fall. Some are long events that span multiple weeks, like the Halloween festivities, while others span just a few hours. Today trainers have the chance to enjoy one of the shorter events thanks to the Meowth Limited Research that is being released in the mobile AR experience this morning.
The Meowth Limited Research Day event features a 20-part chain of quests that offer players tons of opportunities to each rewards and encounters with the various forms of Meowth. This Team Rocket mascot isn’t exactly a rare Pokemon, but it is still popular enough with the community to make this an exciting event for a lot of collector’s. Especially for Pokemon GO players who are still on the hunt for more shiny Meowths.
The Meowth Limited Research is available on October 10 from 8:00am to 10:00pm local time. That means there’s basically one full day to complete this lengthy lists of tasks before the time expires. That said, most of the tasks are very simple and shouldn’t take players very much time at all to complete. Take a look at the full list of challenges below to see what players need to do to reach the end of this Special Research opportunity.

It’s definitely a long list of tasks to complete, but players should be able to get through everything if they play for a few hours using incense today. At this point there are no other surprises expected to come alongside this event, although some players are still holding out hope for the addition of shiny Galarian Meowth.
For now, Pokemon GO trainers should be able to head out into the world (or play from home) and continue catching the best Unova Pokemon in the game and getting closer to that complete Pokedex. Check back for more Pokemon GO updates closer to the event. Until then, good luck out there, trainers!
Pokemon GO is available now in select regions on Android and iOS devices.
