Pokemon GO has released yet another shiny into the wild this weekend and this one has the opportunity to evolve into an exciting Gen 4 creatures for players who have an extra Sinnoh Stone to spare. The newly-released shiny Misdreavus popped up during the Pokemon Go Community Day weekend and surprised many trainers.
Although Misdreavus isn’t the most exciting Pokemon GO creature, Mismagius is still fairly popular, especially as players begin attempting to collect every Gen 4 creature currently available. This new shiny adds yet another variation to track down and add to the collection.

Shiny Misdreavus reports have been popping up on Reddit all weekend long, but we’re not sure if there’s an increased shiny chance currently or just increased spawns. Either way, if players really want a shiny it would be smart to get out and try to track one down as soon as possible. The spawn rates could be reduced at any point today or this upcoming week.
Collecting shiny Pokemon doesn’t give the trainer any kind of advantage in battle, but it is still a fun additional challenge to add into the game. Shiny Pokemon are perfect for leaving in Gyms to show off to the rest of the community.
