Arrokuda is one of the newcomer Pokemon in Sword and Shield, a speed-demon fish based on a barracuda. They’ll propel themselves straight into your heart with their incredible move and stat sets (and charming little fangs). Here’s where to find them and their evolved form in Galar.
Where To Find Arrokuda
You can fish up an Arrokuda on Route 2, in the town of Hullbury, or at the Motostoke Riverbank. It has much higher chances of appearing in the latter two areas than Route 2.
How To Evolve Arrokuda Into Barraskewda
To evolve your Arrokuda, get it up to level 26. There’s also a high chance of catching a Barraskewda in the Lake of Outrage area.
What Barraskewda Does In Battle
Barraskewda is one of the fastest Pokemon in the game, made even faster if it has the Swift Swim ability. Combined with its fantastic attack stat, this is one fish you want swimming on your side of the battlefield. It also has potentially incredible coverage, with the ability to learn Psychic Fangs to help defend itself against grass-type pokemon. Go on the full offensive with Barraskewda: Liquidation, Crunch, and Close Combat give it great coverage and high damage.
