We’ll sound like stuck records, but yet again Porsche has updated one of its cars and we’re harping on about one element - the engine. But this change really does affect the 718’s character - for some it will make it more accessible, for some it will feel like the soul has been stripped away. Beyond the motor, it remains imperious though: a joy on the road and easy to own.
