Power Rangers: Battle for the Grid is getting a physical collector’s edition release this October. Alongside everything that normally comes in the collector’s edition, players will also gain access to a brand new character, Lauren Shiba. Pre-ordering the physical collector’s edition will unlock the Green Ranger V2 skin as well.

Hardcore Power Rangers fans may already know this, but Lauren Shiba premiered in the Super Samurai season of Power Rangers, and is the Red Samurai Ranger. This will mark her first appearance in Power Rangers: Battle for the Grid as a playable character, as well as the first representative from the Super Samurai era of the show.

Though many are quick to dismiss it, Power Rangers: Battle for the Grid has proven itself worthy of attention in multiple instances. One noticeable achievement is when this Power Rangers game became the first 5-way cross-platform fighting game, as it is available on PC, PS4, Stadia, Switch, and Xbox One.

Those interested in the physical collector’s edition will have to wait until October 6th and will need to be prepared to pay $29.99 for it. Given all that it includes a few unique skins and the first season worth of Power Rangers: Battle for the Grid DLC, this is a pretty good deal.
