It is almost time to step into the messed-up world of Death Come True, a new FMV murder mystery titles from Danganronpa creator Kazutaka Kodaka. Centered on a man suffering from amnesia that is also accused of being a serial killer, players will need to navigate a creepy hotel and try to figure out the truth behind what is going on.
It may not be the most original concept around, but Kodaka’s previous games were a riot. It seems like developer Too Kyo Games wants to continue the tradition of mind-bending, dimension jumping plots that both Danganronpa and Zero Escape started. With the release only a week away, publisher Izanagi Games has shared a new trailer that sets the stage beautifully.
Death Come True will be launching on June 25, 2020. It will head to Switch and mobile devices first before eventually making its way to PC and PS4. The game has a full English translation and will be releasing in the west at some point, but its current release is slated for Japan only.
With a price of roughly $20, this seems like the perfect little distraction from big-budget titles to hold you over until Ghost of Tsushima releases next month. It could also make the wait for Too Kyo’s Death March Club melt away.
