Loba’s ultimate ability allows her to loot vaults without a key. Which is very in-theme for her.
Season 5 of Apex Legends has arrived, and it brings with it a brand new legend: Loba. She’s an intergalactic thief that has joined the Apex Games to seek revenge on Revenant for killing her parents, but along the way, she’ll live the high life by looting anything that isn’t bolted down.
It also brings a brand new mechanic in the form of loot vaults. They’re scattered across World’s Edge, and as the name implies, they’re full of loot. Normally, you need to find a vault key in order to access the riches inside, but Loba has a special advantage built right into her ultimate abilities.
Keys shmeys! Loba’s ult allows her to loot vaults just by standing next to them. Black Market Boutique automatically teleports nearby loot into the little staff that Loba slams into the ground. Her passive also lets her see nearby epic and legendary loot, so she always knows when a loot vault is nearby.
These two skills combined mean that Loba and her squad will never feel under-gunned in a match.
