Consumers looking to pre-order a PlayStation 5 prior to this holiday season may be limited to only one pre-order if a recently discovered error message is any indication.

According to a ResetEra user who examined the JavaScript for the official PlayStation store, there is an error message upon attempting to pre-order more than one PS5 console. The message says shoppers “can only purchase one version of the PS5 Console: Disc or Digital. You have already added one PS5 console to your cart.”

While it isn’t certain that this will be the message shoppers will get once they have access to pre-orders, this source code discovery indicates that PS5 consoles may soon be available for pre-order.

There are other logistical unknowns right now, as well, including the exact release date of the PS5 and the price for both the physical and digital editions. Many are already onboard to purchase the console on day one, or ahead of time, but these details could make or break the decision for other tentative PS5 buyers.

These details and more could well be revealed at an event following the Xbox Games Showcase this week. There has also been talk of other controller color options beside the standard white, black, and blue. Exclusive titles have been a major point of focus thus far, with Spider-Man: Miles Morales being a focal game for the PS5 ahead of its release.

The PlayStation 5 will launch this holiday season.
