A Destiny 2 data-miner has just saved players a whole load of Bright Dust. A post on Reddit has advised them to hold off buying a Tractor Cannon ornament until Wednesday, when it will become free within the Eververse store.
Savior of the Destiny 2 community JpDeathBlade has alerted gamers of a Twitch Prime Dust trap. The daily Destiny loot page will feature the Tractor Cannon ornament Machinist’s Trove today for the price of 1250 Bright Dust. However, the watchful protector DeathBlade was quick to advise players not to take the bait, as the ornament would become one of the free items tomorrow. His sound council for the community saved players from making, what would later be regarded as, an annoying and unnecessary purchase. Twitch Prime will no doubt be a little baffled over the Trove’s poor sales.
JpDeathBlade acquired this inside information by putting his Destiny 2 data-mining skills to the test. The software developer runs his own website, TodayInDestiny, that showcases what items are coming to the Eververse store. The website features every Silver, Dust and Class Armor item on a weekly basis, that’s been mapped out until mid-September. TodayInDestiny also highlights event time frames and when they’re due to end, so that every Destiny 2 player is constantly in the know.
Redditors were thankful to the data-miner for the heads-up, who also inquired about the developer’s intel. DeathBlade mentioned that his ability to see what the next Silver deal of the day is, or other vendors, is limited. He explained that while he is able to view a “bucket” full of items, he is unable to know which of these items will be featured as the server picks it at random. Points were also raised concerning the server’s randomize feature, that is designed to stop hackers from seeing future sales. Other users contributed to what players can expect to find in the Eververse store over the next few weeks. The community’s enthusiasm to help other Destiny players was admirable.
The exotic weapon ornament, that would have cost gamers 1250 Bright Dust, allows shooters to change the appearance of the Tractor Cannon ornament. Its rustic beige and red skin will be unlocked for all characters on the same account once you obtain the ornament.
