Bobby Berk, the design expert of the Queer Eye team, is saving Animal Crossing: New Horizons villagers from tragic interior design via Twitter. The tweet that started it all came from the Queer Eye official account, instructing Nook Miles+ members to use #QExAC for tips from the master.

Bobby Berk, interior designer extraordinaire, famously one fifth Fab Five of the Netflix’s series Queer Eye, is inviting people to share pictures of their homes in New Horizons. Animal Crossing players are able to fully customize their homes in any way they wish. There are six expansions total in the game: a bigger main room, three side rooms, an upstairs, and finally a basement. With each expansion folks get to continue their decorating journey by plastering on new wallpaper, replacing flooring, and throwing any and all furniture that will fit in the four walls; a process that can become unwieldy and created a cluttered room fast.

Enter Bobby Berk! Anyone who has seen the show knows that this man has an incredibly discerning eye and knows how to work a space, his advice is worth its weight in bells. People can ask questions, beg general advice, or just show off a little. The hashtag has been blowing up with pictures from New Horizons players since it was tweeted this morning. Players from all over the place are submitting photos of their houses, be it one room or the whole house, to pick Mr. Berk’s brain.

This hashtag is such a sweet way to get everyone engaged in the game and in the New Horizons community at large. Not only can people get advice from a professional on how to perfect their house of escapism, but now there’s a quick way for other people to find inspiration for their own homes from total strangers. So even without advice from the master, it’s still possible to get some design insporation from other villages.

Berk’s social media feeds are like scrolling through a catalogue, and New Horizons might be the only time people will get the chance to actually create one of these dream houses.
