The Canadian Division qualifiers for the Rainbow Six North American League are now officially open.

Earlier this month, we might have mentioned something about a momentous occasion in Rainbow Six Siege esports history. For the first time ever, the great nation to the north is getting its own division. That’s right: Canada will now be represented in the Rainbow Six Siege North American Pro League. And now we’ve got a few more details to go along with how you plucky canucks can form your very own team.

From now until May 29 is open registration for Canadian teams to compete in the open qualifiers. Open qualifier matches begin on May 30, with the top 16 teams competing in the closed qualifiers on May 31. The top 4 teams from the closed qualifiers will then move on to become the official 4 teams for the Canada Division of the North American League.

Signups are on this Faceit page here. You must be at least 18 or older and be a resident of the United States or Canada. Each Canadian team is allowed one American member, although given the fact that these matches are going to take place in Canada, it’s probably recommended that you’re at least geographically close to the 49th parallel in order to keep your ping down.

Official matches begin starting in June, with the first North American League Major happening in August. All matches are done online due to COVID-19, so make sure you bring your best internet connection with you.
