You can get around town in a lot of ways in Call of Duty: Warzone. There are cars, ATVs, military trucks, helicopters, and of course, your own two feet. And you can take the elevator in larger office buildings, but you really shouldn’t.
Reddit user Buttered_CopPorn showcases exactly why you shouldn’t take the elevator in a recent video posted to the Warzone subreddit. The video starts with Buttered_CopPorn looting the top floor of an office building and finding nothing of any real use. Deciding to continue their search, they go to the elevator to make a quick descent only to find his path blocked by a pair of operators with weapons drawn.
You can probably tell where this video is going just based on the music alone, but it’s still a fun meme.
The moral of this story is that you should never take the elevator in Warzone. It leaves you vulnerable for way too long. Instead, head to the roof and descend using a parachute. Yes, you’re out in the open, but at least you have some ability to dodge and you can cut your chute if you absolutely have to.
