VALORANT has officially released, and with it, crafty players are beginning to use their spidey senses to discover hidden things about the game. One sneaky redditor was able to find a hiding spot for Jett that will probably be patched soon.
The launch of VALORANT saw the release of the game’s fourth map, Ascent, which was actually leaked weeks before coming out. The map has been met with favorable reviews, many comparing it to CS:GO’s Dust II. But with the new release comes exploits that Riot Games will have to patch before getting out of hand.
Thanks to Jett’s Updraft, which is an ability that propels her up into the air, Jett players often utilize high ground advantages to win duels. One redditor found a way to obtain possibly the ultimate highground advantage.
Right near the A-bomb site on Ascent, the redditor by the name of “Noobface_” discovered a sneaky little spot where Jett can propel herself up using Updraft, and stay on top of a structure where no player will think to look. From there, it’s just about cleaning up anyone who walks below you.
These exploits are nothing new in games with significant map designs, and are a major part of why the game launched without a ranked mode. Players can expect Riot to patch this hiding spot very quickly. So if you want to get some cheese kills on Jett, be sure to act quickly.
Additionally, expect players to look for you right in that spot as soon as they discover you hiding there.
