Remnant: From the Ashes’ Swamps of Corsus DLC has arrived, adding lots of new content and–biggest of all–a survival mode, transforming gameplay and giving players added challenge.
In Remnant: From the Ashes, players become the last of humanity, fighting off monsters from another dimension that have thrown everything into chaos. Swamps of Corsus not only adds new content to the game but also contains a revamp for the existing Corsus location.
The Swamps of Corsus DLC, on sale for $9.99, adds new dungeons, enemies, and bosses, in addition to new mods and weapons. Its survival mode, according to developer Gunfire Games, essentially turns the game into a rogue-like experience; players can start the game over from scratch and go through it in a new style. As its Steam description reads, “Those brave enough to take on this intense permadeath challenge will travel randomly through corrupted World Stones to different biomes seeking epic new rewards, all the while fighting to survive against insanely difficult bosses and enemies.”
Survival mode can be played on both single-player or multiplayer, which allows teams of up to three players. The DLC also brings a bunch of rewards and cosmetics for players to show off in both the DLC and the base game.
Given all the time at home people have these days, it seems like the perfect time for some DLC to drop, and players will have plenty to do with Swamps of Corsus.
Remnant: From the Ashes is available for PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
