Renegade Game Studios and Oni Games recently announced that Autumn Harvest: A Tea Dragon Society Card Game is now available for pre-order. Autumn Harvest follows The Tea Dragon Society Card Game which won the 2019 Origins Best Family Game Award, and is scheduled to be released later this year.
Autumn Harvest: A Tea Dragon Society Card Game is based on the original Eisner-winning graphic novels by Katie O’Neill, who wrote The Tea Dragon Society in 2017 and its follow up The Tea Dragon Festival in 2019. O’Neill illustrated the new Autumn Harvest game, which was designed by Steve Ellis (Railways of the World the Card Game) and Tyler Tinsley (Seed RPG). Autumn Harvest can be played as a stand-alone game, or as an expansion for The Tea Dragon Society Card Game.

Autumn Harvest is a light deckbuilding card game set in the enchanting world of tea dragons. Players must search out and discover the secrets of how to care for tea dragons by collecting Growth Tokens and gathering cards to build their dragons’ memories. The game is designed for two to four players ages 10 and up, and comes with 128 cards, 46 tokens, and a rules sheet.
As with the previous Tea Dragon Society Card Game and The Tea Dragon Society graphic novels, Autumn Harvest focuses on the principles of friendship and caring. The novels tell the story of Greta, a blacksmith apprentice learning the art from her master blacksmith mom, who one day finds a lost tea dragon. Local tea shop owners Erik and Hesekiel teach her what a tea dragon is, and tell her that caring for them is becoming a lost art. As they and their ward Minette help teach Greta how to care for tea dragons, she cultivates a deeper understanding and appreciation for her life and the lives of her friends.
